1: I loved this book!!!
I picked this book up at Barnes and Nobles store near where I live and had absolutely no knowledge of it. I was just interested in reading something that would be light entertainment for me. I enjoyed this book more than any book I've read lately. I love Sarah Addison Allen's style of writing even tho it might not be everyone's choice, as far as I'm concerned, I couldn't have made a better choice. I loved it! All the time I was reading it I kept placing actors and actresses it the roles of Claire, Sydney, Tyler, Evanelle and Bay. I can see Sandra Bullock as an ideal Claire! Shirley McClaine would be a perfect Evanelle. I am excited and can't wait to read her next book, "Sugar Queen".

2: LOVED THIS BOOK!!
Garden Spells is the type of book that truly transports the reader! I love the mix of romance and danger with the touch of magic. The characters truly come to life for the reader. I have to say that my favorite has to be the apple tree "with 'tude"! This is one of those books that will stay on my bookshelf just so I can take it down and experience the magic again! Sarah Addison Allen is definitely on my "have to read" list from now on!

3: A Young Norah Roberts look-alike
This book is for the average TV watcher...or, perhaps, for a very young, innocent 13 year old. As someone who appreciates good writers, I was astonished, and perplexed the the high ratings Amazon readers gave this.

4: Wonderful first novel!
A delightful, charming, surprise of a first novel. Reminiscent of Alice Hoffman's more whimsical books. I loved it and immediately ordered her newest novel " The Sugar Queen".

I didn't want it to end. Loved the characters and especially loved the apple tree.
