1: Great typical Sparks novel
The Wedding
After reading The Notebook I became an avid Nicholas Sparks fan. When I read there was a sequel I bought it with not much hope that it could be anything as good as The Notebook. I was pleasantly surprised and found it highly enjoyable.

2: Before I buy!
I want this book, but I am so hesitant to get it. I LOVED The Notebook. Loved it! But this sequel is not about Allie and Noah's life (from where it left off in The Notebook). I want to know about Allie and Noah's life from the time she chose him to them winding up in the senior home. I feel like Nicolas has left a huge gap; us knowing them from the start of their relationship and the end of it, all in the same movie! What happened in between? Their wedding, the births of their children, etc. They had such an intense relationship, I just want to know their lives together. This was too much a generation jump for me to be a sequel.

3: Beautiful , Touching Story
I thought when I read "The Notebook", I had read the most beautiful and touching story ever, but this one tops it! You will not be able to put it down, and by all means get plenty of tissues ready. A huge thank you to Nicholas Sparks for this wonderful story. This is a book I will read over and over again.

4: Good!
If you enjoyed this book, you will also like: Tuesdays with Morrie: An Old Man, a Young Man, and Life's Greatest Lesson.
It has a similar "lesson" to it.
Enjoy your readings!

5: Way too gooey, sappy, lovesick romantic for my tastes
I could not get into this book... around page 85 I started speed reading. This book is so overly sentimental. Admittedly I am not a big romantic type so this book may appeal to some, but it definitely wasn't for me.
