1: Final Deception / Decepcion Final
This book kept my attention from the beginning. The descriptions were vivid. They showed a world that few people know about, but the end of this book was terrible. The last page was a complete deception. I really felt at that point that I wasted my time, but then I realized that I enjoyed the rest of the book and that's why I gave it three stars. I guess that I like books that leave me feeling good about the experience of having being part of the story, and this book left me with a bad taste in my mouth.
Este libro capturo mi atencion desde el principio. Las descripciones eran muy vividas pero el final del libro fue terrible. La ultima pagina fue una decepcion total. En esa ultima pagina senti que habia perdido mi tiempo, pero despues me di cuenta de que habia disfutado el resto del libro y por eso le doy tres estrellas. Me imagino que lo que paso fue que me gustan los libros que me dejan al final un sensacion agradable de haber sido parte de la historia, pero este libro me dejo con un mal sabor en la boca.

2: INTERESANTE
Es un novela academicamente bien escrita, con una historia llena de situaciones que se desarrollan en lugares remotos y diferentes. Pero me resulto confuso por los cambios muy bruscos de escenas, personajes, tiempos y lugares ??hay que estar muy despierto, atento y concentrado en la lectura para no perderse!
Aun siendo un buen libro, no puedo comprender por que obtuvo un premio tan valioso.

3: Excelente libro con un final muy rapido
Un libro con una lectura que te deleita te transfiere a otro lugar. El escritor tiene una habilidad increible de desarrollar la historia, lo que me desiluciono fue el final tan abrupto.

5: Couldn't put it down
I opened this book out of curiosity, intending to just read the first paragraph, but once I started I couldn't put it down. I read the whole book in one weekend.
I'm not a native Spanish speaker, but this book was easy for me to read. The author paints vivid pictures of the Saharan desert and of all the characters of the novel without resorting to obscure, flowery words that you wouldn't hear in everyday speech.
And the story is amazing. It moves easily between the past and the present, between Barcelona and the Sahara - every time offering you another piece of the story so that the farther along you go, the more clearly you understand what has happened and is happening. The morning after I finished this novel, I woke up still thinking about it.
