1: A book for those who are really curious about climate
There have been enormous number of books with dynamic and/or statistical approach to climate variations. This book is the first scientific monograph where climate variability is being viewed through stochastic theory. The author starts with the very basic things of stochastic theory processes in climate applications so that I can recommend this book for a reader of any background. If you are really curious about different approach to how climatic system might work - this book is a must to read. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, you can discover many new things about climate variability, as I did. It's not an easy reading (it's not supposed to be!) and I found numerous figures and graphs to be really helpful. My recommendation: whethere you deal with climate as professional, or you are just curious about it - read this book carefully and you'll appreciate it.
