1: Delightful
Listen, Listen by Phillis Gershator and Alison Jay is a beautifully illustrated book that teaches the child to listen to the sounds of the world around him. The scenes depict each season and the sounds that change with the shifting of the winds and the falling of leaves or awakening in spring. The repeating words on each page are delightfully sound-oriented for the young child to repeat and emphasize with delight, making sounds of his own to go with the simple story. It is a lovely book which will be a favorite for all young children and you

2: Listen, Listen
My 20 mo.old son enjoys this book, though not as much as 'I took the moon for a walk'. I would recommend it anyway for beautiful illustrations and nice text.

3: Beautiful...
Absolutely wonderful illustrations with so many things for your little one to discover. The rhyme of the text is so catchy that my 20 month old memorized the whole book in just a few reads.

4: Very beautiful book for the younger children in your family
This book is very nice, we especially like the artistic way this book shows the change in the seasons with all the animals, plants and people. It is in the same style as the book "I took the Moon for a Walk", which is also a definite favorite at our house.
The sounds and sights of each season are beautifully described and enhanced by the artful paintings.
