1: not for drivers
This map seems to be more suitable for walkers or bikers. It is made of a fantastic material - very durable - and it is very detailed. However, it is horrible to use in the car. For one thing it is huge and the map is spread over two sides, which makes it difficult to navigate from the passenger seat as you try to flip back and forth. There is no inset for Palma de Mallorca, which would be helpful to drivers. In addition the road numbers are out of date and the main road bisecting the island seems to have been altered significantly since this map was drawn. For driving, we absolutely hated it.

2: rough guide:fine map
Considering that the scale of this map is something like 1.3 inches to the mile, and it shows individual buildings outside of "urban" areas, it's very unlikely that you'll feel lost for even a second.
The surprising thing is how quickly you get to places. It's also durable.
Fabulous, it was a real help in making our 6 days on Mallorca a blast.

3: Reliable and detailed
My constant companion for our tour of the interior of Mallorca. Invaluable detail for choosing which backroads, short cuts and walks to take. Durable and with a decent amount of overlap of the content on opposite sides of the map, it's easy to use.
