1: Not a lot of techie stuff
My cardiologist recommended I read this book and do what it says. After reading "The Zone" my expectations were that it would take a while to get to the point of the South Beach Diet. There's a lot of rah!rah!.. eat vegetables & exercise material at the beginning of the book. That's the only reason I rated this book a 4, not a 5. I just went to the Phase I recipies at the back of the book, and showed the recipies to my wife (who does all the cooking). I went from 234.6 to 224.6 in exactly 2 weeks, and I wasn't starving.. as the book promises. What else can I say? The book produced the desired results.

2: The South Beach Diet - Supercharged
This is a truly amazing book. It is well written and easy to follow. The recipes are delicious. The author makes following the diet easy. I only wanted to lose 10 lbs. and learn to eat healthy. I am addicted to sweets so this gave me an opportunity to break some of my bad eating habits. The first week was difficult but it got much better the second week. In two weeks I dropped 5 lbs. I've become much more conscious of my snacking. I'm also better about checking for carbs and sugar in packaged food. I started the South Beach way of eating during the Thanksgiving holidays. I figured if I could do it then I could do it anytime.

3: Good read, good eat
The diet really does work. it takes a good mind set to be successful and this new book fuels the desire to continue living well on the "Beach."

4: Excellent Diet
An all around excellent approach to weight loss. It includes everything you nee inclding diet, exercise, encouragement and advice.

This book is amazing. I have lost inches in just the first two weeks (great buy!) The book was in great condition and I would buy from this seller again.
