1: 10 top sights in Rome
This is a pocket book, with lots of pictures. It gives suggestions about top 10 places to see in Rome. Regardles if you have limited time in Rome or a day for each of the ten sights, this book will help yu figure out which ones you can visit in one day.
Book is easy to carry in a purse or bag and does nto take lots of space. Hoewever, make sure you ask for a map at your hotel. Streets and traffic in Rome are brutal. Be ready to walk a lot and bring comfortable shoes.
If you are visitng Ostia Antica, ancient city 30 km outside of Rome, do not rent a car. Ask hotel for instructions on how to get on train to the city. Youy can see this wonerful ancient port for only 1 euro one fare ticket. It is well worth the money and time!
My only regret is that I traveled on the budget and did not have any information on how much opera tickets cost as well as "after hours" transporation. Well, perhaps next time.
