1: In The Flesh is sure to be more than skin deep
Spring Awakening's companion book was a complete and fulfilling book that encompassed the show's long history and the promise of this revolutionary musical's future. This edgy story begs people to hear it's soulful voice. I enjoyed the numerous interviews with the cast and creative team. I appreciated that we got not only the full libretto to the musical, but we also saw how and why decisions were made by the people that took on these vital characters and how they made them so true to life today. Despite the story takes place in 1890, it proves we are all connected, and still suffer from so many of the same problems. This book and its truth really got under my skin. The shipment from Amazon was quicker than expected, and I was very pleased as it arrived in perfect condition!

I have been in love with the show since I first heard about it. This books did an amazing job of putting the show in an amazing light. The pictures are amazing and the stories and script are so much fun. My favorite part is the fan letters at the end, because I entered mine and it made it into the book YAYAY!!! Buy this book if you like broadway at all, it is an amazing trip through the show while sitting in the comfort of your own home!!

4: If you love the show, you wil LOVE this book !!!
Spring Amakening: In the Flesh is a fabulous guide to the broadway show, from conception to casting and beyond. It has lots of wonderful pictures of the cast, as well as interivews with original cast members, replacement cast, ensemble and the minds behind it all; Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater. A full libretto is an added bonus, as the info given in this book about the show and cast is wonderful. A must own for a fan of the show or any Broadway enthusiast.
