1: Most important book I have read this year...
This book has had an immense impact on my personal and spiritual development. Robert has really cleared up a lot of concepts for me...fate vs. destiny, ego, soul, spirit, shadow, karma, law of attraction, etc. Other teachings on these topics never completely resonated, but I found Robert's teachings to be very grounded and easy to grasp. I love his writing style, the concepts in this book are so deep, but the book is so readable and interesting with examples from his own personal life as well as lives of his clients. Most of all, I experienced his teachings as normalizing rather than pathologizing...moving me in the direction of greater self-acceptance & self-love, which carries over to greater acceptance and unconditional love for others. Thank you Robert for packing in so much wisdom into this remarkable book! You may also want to check out his radio show with Hay House, he has amazing insights and says it like he sees it.

3: Cannot believe this is a first book - FABULOUS BOOK!
This book touched me on many levels. I have a lot in common with Robert personally, as I meandered around a bit career-wise and tended bar in Dallas (ahhh, the 80s)- hahaha! As I read along, several times my head literally SPUN as I stopped and re-read passage after passage.
The book reads as if you were sitting with a dear friend and he was sharing his life story and then his life philosophy with you. That is how it make me feel, as if a very wise friend was teaching me one on one.
Read Janet's review for all the specifics, I am sharing that this particular book touched me on a soul level and I am adding it to my list of books to give friends. It is a life-affirming, life-altering, life-loving book.
