1: Recommended reading
One of more enjoyable books I've read in a long time. Bounces around from rave to insight in sort a witty British style. The topics are usually spoken quietly in dark corners of bars to psychiatric offices.
As you read it so many things will turn a light bulb on. Whether you're a lady killer, or continually being played by women, this book should have a real positive impact for years to come.
I'm still chuckling at some of lines.

2: Overly opinionated and poorly edited/written... Do Not Buy!
After reading several reviews and seeing the impressive overall 4.5/5 star review, I decided to give this one a whirl. After reading, I was extremely disappointed with the purchase, however. The majority of the book is fluffed up with filler that makes his sexist rants painfully boring with every turn of the page. I have been through a nasty divorce, am successful with women (although I love learning more tricks and secrets when possible), and have never taken such an unrealistically morose view of women, dating or sex as was/is carlessly displayed by the author, "Dr." Tate.
As a young healthcare professional,I rarely, if ever, find other "Doctors" to be this careless in their display of personal opinion in literary works regarding the female gender, or anything for that matter as it tends to depreciate the subject content, and this was most certainly the case with The Professional Bachelor. I find it extremely hard to believe that a psychologist would risk his professional reputation and practice by publishing a book such as this; it is truly in poor form!
I found this book to have countless grammatical/punctual errors that a 3rd grader would have been able to correct. Within the first ten pages, I found myself saying aloud "Someone get this poor misogynistic fool an editor, please!!". Is this guy even a doctor? Has anyone researched his background or credentials?
Some of the information related to pickup is ok at best, but not nearly as easy to apply as that contained in The Game, or The Mystery Method, which both contain systems for success that are much easier to read. Pick the aformentioned up and do not even consider this work of literary rubbish!

3: Guys, Add This Your Shelf...
I bought this book along with Secrets of the A Game by Logan Edwards. Depending on your style, this book is funnier than most of the other "dry" pickup/seduction books. That's not to say it lacks good information... it has a lot to say. Some of the attitude of this book may be a little harsh for some guys, but it still has the goods and a lot easier to understand and apply than The Mystery Method: How to Get Beautiful Women Into Bed.

4: Educational, occassionally hilarious
Smart writing, a dry funny sarcasm to it. Not really a pickup book like Mystery, more of a bigger picture approach. Some introspective analysis and solutions to the twisted gender roles men play along with, which often destroy their goals, dreams, self-worth, asset base, and life in many cases. Sort of a "where you can be, where you should be." Definitely recommended for getting the edge.
The tidbits that I recall from memory that were best are the speed seduction tips, not resorting to buying attention or being played; recognizing the value of the quick release, seeing the right mesh of personalities and interest when it's there. Some psychological lessons in creating emotional attraction, and how to stick up for what you want out of a relationship.

5: Worth the price of admission
The divorce industry is not your friend, and rigged entirely against men. As a divorce attorney, men need to wake up and heed the financial advice in this book. You have insurance on your car and home, why in the world would you go into a marriage without insurance on your assets? The tools to setup asset protection are explained in accurate detail. With prior knowledge of how it works, you'll save yourself hundreds of dollars in billable hours going in prepared to the law offices to set it up. More importantly, you'll save half your net worth and structure your income such that the potential monthly payments are minimal. In today's divorce happy environment, it's just not worth the risk.
