1: A little hokey but informative nonetheless
This is the first dream analysis book I've purchased. I guess I expected something more psychoanalytical/scientific; it's essentially spiritual/supernatural in its approach to dreams and their meanings. Nonetheless, there are some good fundamental ideas on the typical kinds of dreams and symbols and how to interpret them.

2: The best dream book ever!
I've owned this book for about 20 years and mine is worn out so I'm purchasing another copy! Betty Bethards was an amazing woman with a rare insight into metaphysics and the subconscious symbology of dreams. Using this book, I've come to understand myself better through deciphering my dreams. It's easy and fascinating at the same time. Dreams aren't usually literal, they're symbolic so a seeing a snake, your teeth falling out or dreaming of a death isn't that at all! Buy this book, you won't be sorry. It'll be the best tool to unlock even the craziest dream you've ever had!

3: Bethards: The Dream Book
I was trying to find a book that went beyond a dream dictionary and actually taught me how to personally interpret my dream(s). Bethards does exactly this. It is not light reading and takes a couple passes to fully begin to understand how to interpret and use your dreams in your every day life, but it is well worth the effort. I was at first taken aback by the religious language the author uses in describing the point of dreams, but it is easy to look past that (or accept it) and get the information you are seeking. I use this book in combination with a dream dictionary and have had personal success in understanding what my dreams are saying to me.

4: My Go To Book
This is the book I always pick up when I need to understand my own dream symbology. I also use this book when I receive images during meditation. I almost always get that ah-ha feeling after I've read her interpretation and which allows me to move forward toward understanding my own symbology. I have 2 other dream dictionaries but they do not come close to my personal dream symbology like this one does. I'm so happy to see that it resonates with others as well. I've owned this book for 2 years and it's pretty worn, but it's mine and I enjoy it.

5: One of the Best on the Market
This dream dictionary is one of the best on the market that I have found. I only wish she could have been more detailed in some of her descriptions. Some definitions are pretty vague. In all, a very good dream dictionary, especially for someone who is a beginner at dream interpretation.
