1: Marsters talks, Butcher writes, results are FANTASTIC
Truth is that if it is a Dresden Files book written by Jim Butcher and read by James Marsters you can bet it is going to be really entertaining. Plus the hero is someone you can sort of identify with as he is not exactly flawless. I also love the humor. I mean the man has a fairy as a Godmother and that is a step into the unknown right there. It is a great ride, especially if you like material that is just a shade off center.

2: James Marsters makes the story like watching a movie
I forget sometimes that it is not a group of actors reading this book, James has so many accents and voices and makes the story real. I have always liked his acting, but am amazed at his talent in this area. In fact I would love to have a DVD of him reading one of the Dresden Files, that would be a show in itself, bloopers and all.

3: Marsters is fantastic
I love the way James Marsters reads the entire series. It's a new take on performing an audio. Rather than go into a sort of Richard Little cornucopia of voices, he simply tells you "his" story as if Harry Dresden himself is sitting with you at dinner telling him about his day. It really is a great treat to hear him read. I sure would have liked to have seen him play Harry in the series!

4: Five stars
I have never read the book, but James Marsters brings the story to life. He not only reads the book, he acts it. Varying his voice to distinguish different characters.
I recommend this audiobook, it is magic.

5: Paranormal Adventures - Harry Dresden
Having read the books and enjoyed them, I thought that having them as audiobooks would be interesting. Another voice that could bring the world/ stories to life. Well they are well worth buying, the story teller James Marsters is amazing as Harry and the totally entertains the listener. I recommend these books as an amazing way to pass long journeys or spare time. I'm looking forward to the rest of the Harry books in this format and will also buy the books as I love to read the printed word and imagine!
The story is the second outing for Harry and as such further develops his world and the characters within it. Overall a really good story in a world that almost makes the listener want to inhabit it.
