1: Excellent for colors!!!
My son is 3 and loves this book. The bright pictures and great prose is fun and a wonderful way for little ones to learn. Each night it is almost like playing a game together before bed!!!

2: Great colors and lots of fun to read
This book was awesome. I grabbed this book from the library for my 10 month old son - he was always going to the book and giving it to me to read to him - we got to the point where I would say "where's the blue dots and the blue spots" and he would automatically go find the book - we had so much fun with this book that I had to go and buy the book for him.

3: cute story and good teaching tool
My 20 month old really enjoyed this book--he's a big Olie fan. It's short and repetitive, which is exactly what toddlers like (and need). It's intended for one year and up. The colors are vivid and so this book is a great early teaching tool, but keep in mind that toddlers can really only learn one color at a time, so trying to get your child to repeat what color is on each page might be discouraging for you and frustrating for the kid! As a parent, I am grateful for very short board books, since my children are going to ask me to read it about ten times in a row. This fits the bill perfectly and should be pleasing to Olie fans and kids who just like stories.

4: Great Book for my 16 month old
My 16 month old has loved this book for the last few months. He loves the repition and the bright colors. He has not seen a Rolie Polie Olie video yet, but he received a electronic Rolie toy and a plush Olie for Christmas and really relates to the book. Unfortunately, there are not too many "Olie" things out there. We love this book, it's up there with Goodnight Moon!

5: Something for my daughter to teeth on...
My daughter is 5 months old and loves to watch Rolie Polie Olie. My husband and I have grown very fond of it, too. Now that I am building her "library", I want to include books that will spark an interest in books throughout her life. I beleived that this book would be perfect because she is already familiar with Olie and the other characters on the show. HOWEVER...once I received the book and began to read, a feeling of ambivalence came over me. I was dissapointed that the words did not "flow" well and became monotonous. As a parent, (the one who is actually going to read this book), I had hoped for more. But, I'm sure my daughter will enjoy the art.
