1: Great book!
This book is a large book, but with big pictures and writing. The stories are just long enough to be satisfying for my 3 year old. We read a new one each night. It is a great introduction to the "Winnie" series.

2: new books
These were new books; however a couple of the corners were a little krinkled. I am still pleased.

3: Excellent Book
This is a definite buy if your child is fond of picture books and Pooh characters. My daughter loves it and makes sure we read one story before going to bed everyday.

4: Works for younger kids, too.
While designed for children who are just learning to read, it is also excellent for young children who can't read yet but love Winnie the Pooh. The book has large pages with colorful pictures and 1-2 sentances per page. This makes it a perfect picture book for young ones (my child is 2 1/2.) The first story about Pooh sticks matches part of the Disney Winnie-the-Pooh videos, so you can reinforce with multiple mediums. The stories make a good basis for talking about emotions, friendship and kindness to others.

5: Great Illustrations - captivating for young readers.
My two-year old daughter absolutely loves this book! There are 5-6 stories, and each take about 5 minutes to read. Every page has a nice illustration showing the characthers in color, with just a few sentences per page. My child finds the illustrations captivating, and I think the illustrations make this a great first Pooh book. When she begins to learn to read on her own, we will no doubt return to this book many times.
The stories are positive, and there are no themes or pictures would scare a very young reader. It is a perfect bedtime book for a two year old.
I picked this up at Disney 3 months ago, and it immediately became her favorite book.
