1: Great set (but not hardcover) Just received this in the mail. Very pleased with the set and got it for significantly cheaper than what the pre-order price was! Just wanted to point out (and in response to the first review) that the title of the product on this page is maybe a bit misleading. The box that the set comes in is hardcover but the books are "in its original oversize paperback format" as it says in the product description. I was expecting hardcover but re-read the page after receiving the set. Not too disappointed though as still wanted the set as I wanted them for my kids and my little brother had circled all the stuff to find in my old copies!!
2: possibly not hardcover I saw a box that looked just like this in my local book store listed for $45 (the list price on Amazon at the time of this comment) last night and it was just a box with the 6 softcover books inside. While I have not purchased this specific edition from Amazon and it could well be a hardcover box set, I did not purchase it from my local store as I wanted the actual books to be hardcover and it's too much to gamble on for me to try ordering this from Amazon, afraid I'll get the same set I turned down at my local store. Please mark this comment not helpful in the event that you order one and it is actually hardcover. P.S. My son loves Waldo (as did I)
