1: Loved it!
With an ending like this, what's not to love about this book? Like it states above, it is not a book about Mother's Day, so it can be gifted for any occasion, or none at all, and read all year round. Definitely one of my favorites that I have found in searching for books to read with my soon to be born daughter. I have definitely recommended this book.

2: A Sweet Story about Our Love for Our Little Ones
This beautifully drawn and sweetly told tale brought such happiness and joy to my heart as I sat reading it to my two very young children that I wanted to re-read it. Luckily this loving story had the same impact on my son who immediately requested that I read it again!
"Mama's Day" validates all that we do for our children all day, everyday. It is so nice to have such a wonderful acknowledgment of your love, energy and hard-work.
This is a highly requested story in our home and each time I read it my son always has to hear it twice. I guess it makes him feel special too.

3: What a treasure!
My daughter is 10 months old and ADORES this book. She picks it up out of a stack of books and says, "Mama! Mama!" perhaps referring to the title. The illustrations have a subtle magic to them, and the words are so sweet and easy to read again and again. What a treasure.

4: Another Marvelous Poem by Linda Ashman!
My son loves anticipating the words that complete Ms. Ashman's clever rhymes (about mothers) in this lovely book. And as a mother, I appreciate the sentiments in the poem; the verses are meaningful and resonant without being cliched or artificially sweet. The ending is perfect, and gives us a happy, loving moment to share together every time we read this book. Already a favorite in our household, like several other books we treasure by this talented writer.
