1: exciting
The reason I say exciting is because when my granddaughter saw this book, she was excited. After the book arrived at my house, she saw it and remembered it from school. I plan to read this book to my class at school. I had never read it before and I am very pleased with this book.

2: Causes all new concerns for little ones
I really disliked this book. We have read others by the author that we've liked. While I know what his message was here, I really felt the "school will be okay" message was overwhelmed by the pages upon pages of things to worry about. My daughter is 2.5 and having trouble adjusting to preschool. This book seemed to concern her quite a bit. Another little boy I read it to asked me WHY did Wemberly worry so much. She worries about the way the playground equipment is put together, the crack in the wall at home, and so on. I think the book created more concern than it took away. A much better book (in my opinion), on this same topic is The Kissing Hand. My daughter has responded nicely to that one, and it seems to be helping. She referred to it today as she went off to school without tears (a big achievement around here)!

3: a great book for kids...
My five year old daughter and I read this book last night. I really liked how the author simply explained about anxiety. He puts into words what I couldn't and helped my daughter understand more about what she's feeling and why. I especially liked how Wemberley's parents were in the book.

4: Wemberly Worried
I read Wemberly Worried. The reason I liked Wemberly Worried and would recommend it is because it is funny. It made me laugh and I almost got the hiccups. In the book I read about when Wemberly thought something would come out of the living room wall but nothing can come out of a wall.

5: Worried About Everything
Wemberly Worried by Kevin Henkes is an awesome book for young children. I think it is best for children that worry to much from the ages 4 to 7. It teaches them not to worry about everything. While reading the book, I think your children will love the drawings. I recommend this book to children that don't worry, as well because it's a fantastic book!
In the book, a young mouse named Wemberly is scared of everything! Her parents and grandmother worry that she worries to much! Then, when she gets to school she's scared. But then a surprise happens. She meets a mouse named Jewel and it turns out that she get as worried as much as Wemberly does. After they meet they start hanging out.
Before Wemberly knows it, she and the other mouse Jewel become the best of friends! So, what I think, other than just telling kids not to worry in the book, it tells you that you can always find someone that has things in common with you and you can become friends. So, if you know a child that gets easily worried or is scared about making friends you should read the book to them. I read this book quite a few times and never got tired of it! I hope it's the same the you too!
This book will make any young child happy. Even a kid that can't read will love it! You can just look at the pictures and know what it's about. Most people say not to judge a book by its cover. But this one you can because the pictures are just as great as the story!
So, now you know all of the reasons that I think Wemberly Worried is an awesome book. It has great drawings, a great story, and helps kids that worry to much or are scared to make new friends. It really helps. I hope you can enjoy the book as much as I did.
