1: high stakes
In this book, Carole gets a boyfriend. This is annoying because they don't do anything besides kiss or make plans to kiss when Carole feels more comfortable. Talk about boring. Lisa is dealing with her break-up with Alex and wondering if she should date other people. Her dilemma is also dull. Callie is being stalked, which is interesting, but I wish the author would stop beating us over the head with what a nerd the stalker is. Okay, he's pudgy and wimpy. WE GET IT ALREADY.

2: A Good Book
Well, this was my first Pine Hollow book. I don't know why I chose to take the 13th book of the series, but it was okay. Bonnie Bryant was able to write the book with me understanding it. I was surprised at first how a handsome someone actually liked Lisa for a long time. I would've thought they were already together. Their character just sounded like they were made for each other. The Cam and Carole part was a little to mushy for me.

3: High Stakes (Pine Hollow, No 13)
An awesome book. Quite a bit of romance, but I liked it. There are definetly changes for Lisa and Carole and you will have to read #14 after you read this one.

4: One of the best yet!
Cam is back and Carole's finally got a boyfriend (VERY ROMANTIC! :))--besides Starlight! The two realize how much they really love each other while Lisa and Alex decide to take a break from their semi-rocky relationship...plus Lisa has to deal with her wierdo mother always messing up her life. Stevie makes an embarrasing mistake but is a good sport about it and Callie isn't having any luck finding a new horse. The story is strong and it's really cool how Carole and Lisa kind of switch places--can't wait to see what happens in the next one!

5: An ok book
I thought this was an ok book. It's a little weird with Carol and Cam though. At the beginning of the book they have just met again and at the end they are like an old married couple. The other Pine Hollow books were better but this one was ok.
