1: It only looks lengthy
Well, here we go again, Nora Roberts with one of her gems, but first you must give it a chance. The oopening four chapters are dogeral to get through and you want to lay it down and pick it up when the game is over. Stick with it, it may lay heavy in your hands, it's quite lengthy and typically Nora Roberts wordy, but every word counts. With a pleasant mix of just enough sex to perk up your libado, and more than enough mystery to keep you turning the pages. And guess what?, NO ROBOTS. That's where Nora and J.D., and I part ways, but that's only a personal rant. but let Amazon send you a Nora Roberts and buy a J D Robb at the corner used book store if you must. When you finish Public Secrets you need to analize, from whence the title comes from, but who really cares, the read is excellent.

2: A REAL DISAPPOINTMENT
I expect something Nora Roberts writes, and I pay to read, to have been edited. This Kindle edition may be different, but it had so many errors in it I was distracted and irritated. On top of that, I thought the storyline was good but then the ending was very disappointing and, to me, insulting to her readers in the way the main bad guy/gal - a supposedly intelligent person throughout the book - suddenly turns into an idiot in the attempt to dispatch the main character. I got the feeling that after what I felt was an overly long but basically good story, Nora ran out of creativity in ending the tale. (I've tried to avoid any spoiler here on the ending for those who want to read this book.)

3: MY FAVORITE!
This is my favorite Nora book. A number of wonderful characters who each have a story to tell around Emma. It's a peek into Rock Star lifestyle and touched on every contraversial topic of our time. Full of emotion, touching suspense, relationships, haunting Loved it!
Others I loved were THE THINGS WE DO FOR LOVE, EXPLOSION IN PARIS and all Twilight series.

4: Great book!
This was a great book! However, I have not read anything that was so poorly edited in my life. I don't know how these books go from one media to another but things certainly got scrambled in translation. I have read quite a few books on my Kindle and never run in to this before. Hummm....

5: Watch out for the typos and foul ups with word...
The story was very good. I reaaly liked the characters and the years of life they had. There were suprises at every turn. though the only bad thing about this book were the typos. There were so many it became distracting. All in all I love Nora Roberts stories.
