WOW! what a story. this book really got interested in edj. i was a casual fan at best before reading both books and now i'm a huge fan. from the storyline to the characters to the action all the action this was definitely an awesome book

2: Waking With Enemies
If only I could get back the hours that I spent on this one. I eagerly anticipated reading this sequel to "Sleeping With Strangers" but ended up being sorely let-down. Nothing really happens until the last third of the book and by that time, I was so tired of reading it, I didn't care what happened to Gideon, the man with the broken nose, Arizona, Lola Mack or Mrs. Jones. Dickey turns this into such a long and drawn out affair that it really spoils the entire story. Sorry, but this one is a dud.

3: Very good sequel
I enjoyed this book it was a great mixture of mystery, erotica, drama, and action. I'm happy I had it sitting next to me when I finished "Sleeping with Strangers".

4: Not One Of His Best Works
I am a FAN of EJD and I love all of his works so far they're a good mix of steamy love making scenes, action, and mystery. I love the way the story twists into ways you wouldnt imagine...but THIS book (and the SWS) i almost slept through. The sex scenes were overly done...the conversations were random...and the environmental descriptions were TOO MUCH. It was like EJD was trying to prove that he was aware of the CNN headlines and also prove that he's been to the area that the book was set in. some of the setting descriptions, such as where the characters met were unnecessarily described and i ended up trying to skip most conversations to get to the main idea. It was SO BORING at parts and i was disappointed in them all together...his latest book PLEASURE was much better. I dont know what happened with these two...I heard that he was rushed and I can tell. there was a LOT of errors that I saw (NEED A NEW EDITOR??) and the conversations the characters had were static and without whole sentences...people dont always talk like that and it was hard to read. Oh Well...I havent lost faith in him but these weren't the best..

5: Hot & Erotic
EJD has out done hisself. This book was so excitingly erotic. I loved everything about it. The plot was great. I can't wait to see what he dones next. It can only get better after this double feature.
