Customer Review:

1: It's my go-to gift for the entrepreneurs in my life
Nearly every business owner, or wanna be business owner I know, has or is getting a copy of this book from me. And the ones that I've given it to that have read it - LOVE it.

Michael Masterson breaks the life of a business down to four phases. From the first phase where you are just starting out to the fourth phase where you have a mature $100 million dollar business...he gets into the fundamental issue every business at each phase has, what the opportunity is, and how to overcome the challenge the business is facing in that phase. And then he explains the skill that is missing at that phase that you will need to get in order to move on to the next phase.

It's simple - but making things simple takes real genius I think.

And peppered throughout the book are his stories of businesses he's built or consulted with, other people's businesses (don't worry - if you are an E-myth reader...there is no pie shop story in here!), and entertaining tidbits to help you learn and understand the concepts he is explaining and why they are so critical.

I haven't yet created my own $100 million dollar company, but relating it to the companies I have worked for, worked with, and worked on, I really think that he "hits the nail on the head" with this book. That's why it's my go-to gift for the entrepreneurs in my life.

2: A Must Read Business Book Regardless of the Size of Your Business
Having worked for some time to teach others how to grow their businesses, I was looking for more and better information to provide my clients.

Growing a business is a difficult thing to do, especially if you want to grow it into multi million dollar revenues. However, I don't think that growing your business into a larger enterprise is really as difficult if you read this book.

Even if you are only interested in growing your business to a few thousand a month, or a few hundred thousand a year, this book will still help you. That's because most of the techniques in this book can be scaled.

What Michael Masterson does is explain the four stages of business based on his experience. He then explains the pitfalls in each stage and shows you how to overcome each stage, whether it's structuring your business correctly or developing your product line.

Regardless of what stage you are in though, he consistently drives home the most important lesson that every business owner needs to be reminded of: if you want to grow your business, if you want to make money, you have to market.

In Stage 1, you create your first product. The focus here is on marketing. You want to get your first customer and build a customer base.

In Stage 2, you continue to focus on marketing, but you also add more products to your product line.

In Stage 3, the focus is in modifying the structure of your business so you aren't working all of the time and your business continues to grow.

In Stage 4, you've come full circle. You determine the role you want to play in your business, as well as getting sales going again as they may stall.

In fact, marketing and making sales is the most important element of your business, and if you don't market, you won't make sales.

It really doesn't matter what type of business you own either; the formula is the same. You create products that others want to buy, and you create them as quickly as possible and get busy marketing. (Perfecting your product and making it better is something you do as you get feedback from your customers.)

As a long time reader of Michael Masterson, and someone who reads Early to Rise every day, I cannot stress enough how important it is to read this book.

If you are truly committed to growing your business, and you want a business that will provide you long term sustainable income, you need to read this book. This book will help you grow your business, and it will also help you make money if you apply the principles he outlines.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who truly wants to understand the business process, grow your business, and make more money without wasting your time.

3: Must Read for Entrepreneurs
I bought the audio-book version so I could listen to it over and over again. Being a long time subscriber to the Author's "Early to Rise" daily email newsletter I wasn't turned off by Michael Masterson's healthy ego. As a proven business builder, rainmaker, multi-millionaire teacher-mentor he has earned the bragging rights. It is a must read for entrepreneurs new and old. I wish I had this information many years and thousands of dollars ago. The advice is timely and vital for anyone hoping to survive in this tough economic climate. The audio-book makes great gift idea for anyone that spends any time commuting or business traveling.

4: Tell me something I don't already know.
Rhetoric. Hardly any new ideas or thoughts that haven't already been beaten into the ground by every other book in this category.

5: Fantastic, No Holds Bar Truth about running a Business
I finished reading the book in 2 days after it arrived in Singapore !

Actually I was quite skeptical at first about buying R.F.A. because I have never read any of Michael Masterson book but with the strong recommendation through ETR, I decided to give it a try. I am glad I bought it.

The methodology indicated out by Michael for the different stage of development in business building is so simply describe that I feel its really worth the money spent.

I have failed twice in business but I believe R.F.A. will be the book that helps me to overcome and re-learn the proper way of running a business in the near future. I am thankful to Michael for putting his working experiences on a book that I think is really cheap for the advices you can get from within.

I recommend anyone out there who are embarking in any form of business to read this book and it might be the best Christmas present to yourself after all.

Cheers and have a wonderful holiday in weeks to come !
