1: WORST HERO
Ok, short summary since so many others have done that well - Mac goes to New Orleans to find out who is robbing his banks every year. His number 1 suspect is Nessa. Nessa and her eccentric family are extremely well loved by everyone in New Orleans - so he pretends to be an investigator instead of the owner of the bank to find out more about Nessa.
Doesn't sound too bad right? WRONG. Because the lie goes on for over 3/4 of the book and Mac is the biggest JERK for the entire book. I just could not get over his poor pitiful me - I have been betrayed and can't trust anyone. It got old very quickly.
Nessa didn't stand up to him nearly enough. I don't care what happened to him in the past - it doesn't excuse what he did - especially when it turns out most of what he thought of as a betrayal was a misunderstanding on his part.
Basically, I would recommend skipping this book. It looks like it may be the start of a new series that I will be definitely be skipping.

2: Can't wait for the next one
I'm hooked on this particular series of books by Christina Dodd. I love the suspense of finding out that there are now 5 half brothers and they are finding each other, and recognizing one another in the process of living a life of hard won success and love. I was a bit disappointed that it was so easy to figure out who the bank robbers were, but that made it kind of intriguing. How would the Characters deal with it, and who would be the most affected. It was fun.

4: sexy and entertaining read
I really enjoyed this story with its entertaining humor, sexy lead characters and suspense. The contemporary setting in post Katrina New Orleans is an added gem and I strongly recommend this book.

5: What an Awesome Book!
5 Stars!!!
Christina Dodd's "Thigh High" is a fast paced page turner! I read this in record time considering I am having one of my busiest weeks ever with my business. I picked it up every chance I got.
Christina's characters are wonderfully quirky, delightfully dysfunctional and lovable to their cores. Mac and Nessa are one of the best book-couples I have read about in contemoprary fiction in a long time! The winding plot roads of this book kept me on edge and eagerly wanting more.
The description of post-Katrina New Orleans and its Mardi Gras are spot on and I felt as though I had visited the 'Big Easy' after I finished.
Absolutely wonderful and highly recommended for your summer reading list!
