1: jump cut Criminal Minds second book in the series
The story is about multiple murder victims being found dressed up and wearing makeup in several different locations. The killings all apprear to be the staged work of a serial killer which prompt the local authorites to get the BAU team from Quantico involved. I have read all three of the books based on Criminal Minds TV series and recommend them to fans of the show they are well done and intriguing from not just the procedural standpoint but the interaction of the characters is very much the same as the TV series as well. I look forward to more books in this series.

2: Jump Cut Makes The Cut As A Good Read
This was a very good book once it got past the introductory pages. It started out slow, with an awkward introduction, excessive use of phrases in parenthesis and an unnecessary paragraph detailing what every one of the characters was wearing, but the writing and the story just got better and better after that.Overall I thought it was a very compelling and very entertaining read. The story itself was very interesting, I think it would've been a very good episode for the show. If you start reading it and think, "Oh, my God this is going to be bad..." wait until you get past the first fifty or so pages, the rest of the book is much better and is really worth reading.

3: Reads like a TV show....wait! it is one!
I rated this book as an "OK' -- because it was just like reading a tv script. I found it difficult to really care about the characters. Seemed like the author spent way too much time describing the clothes the people were wearing moreso than the action in the book.
I might read more, hard to say. Not a top pick.

4: Another series of books based on TV
The book reads like an episode of the show. It's a good substitute for when there aren't any new episodes.

5: Weak Story and Unbelievable at Times.
The overall premise of the book is one worthy of the show, but is poorly written. The book starts off slow due to the amount of writing used to create an initial painting of the un-subs process. The fashion descriptions were a little bit wordy for my liking. I do not think that it was necessary to describe what everyone was wearing every day. Another reviewer did point out that the author was compelled to use the team members' full title, A LOT!! After the first couple of time he should have dropped the Supervisory Special Agent title, or done what that characters have done often in the series which is to use the S.S.A. abbreviation. With Lesser FBI Characters the author has no problem using S.A. for their title.
The story lost credibility with me fast when the corner was able to pull the 4 known victims out for the team to examine, despite the fact that the crimes had started in October and the story starts in early spring. The author does tries badly to cover this error by making a brief comment about embalming fluid with one of the victims. I'm not a mortician, but that seemed like quite an unbelievable stretch for me, which started me looking more closely at the story and finding more errors (no more to be mentioned here).
IF you are looking for a light read based on the Criminal Minds Series, then you will probably be fine with this book. But if you are like me and were looking for a quality story up there where the television series has been then you will be sadly disappointed.
I did not expect the book to be 100% as accurate as the show, but I did want more than the 65% I got.
