1: TANTILIZING AND TEASING
This is my first book by Mary Lynn Baxter and it will not be the last. What superior writing skills and weaving of characters Mary Lynn Baxter has done in this book. I could actually picture the entire book with her vivid descriptions of each character and their personalities. The opening hook starts in the past where a young, excessively inebriated doctor stops to help a pregnant woman who has been in an accident on his way home. He gets her to the hospital, but leaves without anyone seeing him since his job as a doctor would be in great jeopardy. Then the story moves forward many years later and the central focus is about a journalist, Dana, who goes back to her hometown to do a story on a certain infertility specialist, Yancy Granger who is nominated for the Nobel prize. There is love, hate, greed, mystery and most of all hot, steamy sultry sex. There are lots of major surprises throughout this book and twists and turns that make your head spin around and it keeps you turning page after page. Just when you think you know where the plot is going, Mrs. Baxter surprises us again and again. This is a great read, thoroughly enjoyable and one that I highly recommend.
