2: Terrific Book!
I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend its' readable and tasteful style- substance without too much gore. It has given me a deep respect for the military and shows how a man's faith in Jesus Christ can carry him through even the most difficult situations in life. The Bible was a constant source of strength to Boykin. He takes you behind the headlines and let's the reader see what really happened on some of those historical missions. Another intriguing book that will inspire you is Visual History of the English Bible, A: The Tumultuous Tale of the World's Bestselling Book. 3: a great read
This book kept me awake during a loooooong international trip last week.
Boykin is a real modern-day hero who took hits from both outside (arm nearly blown off) and inside the USA (from the president himself).
Well written, easy to read, inspiring, honest.

5: Excellent Book
This is an excellent book about a real american hero. While not revealing operations secrets, the General shares his stories with us in an almost conversational manner. Highly recommend it.
