1: Gotta Have Faith!
I for one have always been a fan of Faith Evans and the whole Bad Boy Era. I have always found her music very real and touching. Now to read the story behind all the stories and gossip and in her own words. I loved this book. I felt as if she was just one of my girlfriends and just talking to me. We all make mistakes and we learn from them but I am so glad she came through it all stronger and better! Especially how Faith has a connection to Al B. Sure, Redman, Lil' Kim, Puffy, Mary J Blige, Missy and 112! I loved the behind the scenes scenarios. You must read this to understand her relationship with Biggie and all she went through. Thank you Faith and may you continue to be blessed in life!!

2: Better than expected
When I first decided to purchase this book, I didn't think that it was going to be all that good but I still wanted to read what Faith had to say. I read the book in a day. I felt as though I was right in the mist of all that was happening. I really appreciate the fact that she let us know that she was no saint. And what really brought it home was that I can remember what was going on when certain events in her life was happening. I definately recommend reading this book.

3: Glad to Hear...
This book was definitely an interesting read. I read it in two days. I learned a lot about her that I didn't know prior to this. Clearly, not everything is told without 100% bias as expected. Nonetheless, I would recommend this book to hip-hop lovers.

4: A Great Memoir!
Keep The Faith is an emotionally-charged memoir by Faith Evans. If you ever wanted to get to know the real Faith Evans, then this book is for you. This is not your typical trashy celebrity tell-all. This book is about Faith telling her story as honestly as possible. You will learn how she got into the business with not just her vocal talent but with her writing talent as well. She delves into her family life and how she went from being born in Florida to moving to Newark, New Jersey. Evans pulls no punches about the mistakes she's made in her life, and she makes no excuses for it. She talks about being in a physically abusive relationship in her early teens, her drug use, and even her abortions. Of course she does give readers the whole history about her relationship with Biggie and his affairs with Lil' Kim and Charli Baltimore. Evans also sheds some light about the rift between her, Mary J. Blige, and Missy. Readers will also be interested to read about what really happened when she met Tupac.
In reading this memoir, you will see that Faith's life did not start and end with Biggie. You see the growth in her maturity level as you get further into the book. At the end of the book, you will truly feel the peace that she now has in her life and how she let go of the drama that she had in the past with some of the aforementioned celebrities. Keep The Faith is a well written memoir that shows how Faith Evans remained successful and true to herself in the cutthroat music business.

5: BRAVELY CANDID
I read this book in less than a week. I would have read it in one day if I didn't have to study and read economics. This book is candid and describes her life in detail. As she said, its from her perspective so I'm sure there are some who won't understand or even agree where she is coming from but it feels as if she is speaking to a best friend while reading this book. I highly recommend this book. It touches home for me because I too am from Newark, NJ and actually had a boyfriend who lived on Grumman Avenue where she was raised. Some of the names in the book are names of people who I know of from Newark. Interesting, deep, thought-provoking, bravely candid read!
