1: great characters
I loved the all-too-human characters in this book. Arlene is far from a stellar mother. She has one kid in a mental institution, a son who's a total free loader, and a teenage daughter pregnant and refusing to name the father. Enters Hank, a sexy cowboy with some serious past. (He's an ex CIA assassin.) I enjoyed following these two unlikely lovers as they find and save each other.

2: Thumbs down.
The otherwise interesting Whitehorse, Montana, series sunk like a rock in this one. Every piece of the plot is too farfetched to catch your brain, and it just gets sleezier as it goes. Even includes graphic sex. Trashy.

3: Whitehorse stories not over!
The Whitehorse series isn't over. In fact, it will continue for at least another six book beginning in September with Montana Royalty followed by five more when the Corbett brothers hit town. All loose ends will be tied up!

4: Great finale.
This is the the final story in this series of 6. I loved the story about arlene and hank monroe. I felt she deserved some happiness as she had a rough first marriage and bringing 3 children up alone. Hank came over as a great guy who helped her out when her pregnant daughter went missing. The only thing that disappointed me is I would have loved to here about cade johnson and andi blake affair. Their story was in the 4th book and nothing about them in the last book. (classified christmas).
