2: Review of Health Law: Cases and Materials
This book offers a comprehensive review of various issues in Health Law. It covers topics ranging from ERISA to Stem Cell Research. The authors did a great job researching each topic but did not really organize the information efficiently. They could have done a better job of using more extensive and topic organized notes sections after cases to explain complex issues like ERISA preemption or embryo parental rights. As a result, many times I felt the cases were compiled without really allowing the reader to understand the significance of each case with respect to the topic at hand.

4: No better guide to today's health news
Health news today is increasingly dominated by legal issues - pharmaceutical torts, end of life lawsuits, Medicare and Medicaid reform efforts, etc. This book will educate you to the level of expert - feel disdain at the idiots discussing tort reform! Laugh at ignorant talking heads who seek to sway you with their flash-card analysis! Seriously though, this one volume will teach you more than a lifetime of Linda Greenhouse columns.

5: Excellent & Comprehensive!
This text is indispensible and required reading for anyone interested in health law. The book gives an in-depth overview of issues and problems that currently exist in this interesting area of law. As a law student, this book was very useful in providing concise portrayals of issues facing the health industry from all angles, not just legal perspectives. I would also suggest this book to anyone who wants to get their feet wet in health law. It is a bit advanced, so if one is just starting out, the language may be confusing and require a dictionary. Otherwise, it is highly recommended.
