1: from author of 053803 Great story but...
I really enjoyed the varied demise of his victims, but after being incarcerated myself with quite a few muderers as friends I question more than a few of his stories. As a professional, you just get the job done and don't bother with the details. As someone obsessed with killing you are too engrossed in the process to be usefull to the mob. But it is an enjoyable read. I've recommended it to a few friends.

2: Great True Crime Read
This book is amazing and frightening and at times you almost see a heart in the main character.

3: Excellent Read
Though Ice Man is shocking and disconcerting, it is a very hard book to put down. I first saw the Ice Man on the HBO interviews and was stunned and shocked and riveted to the screen. Carlo's book is much more detailed and filled with never known before anecdotes involving not only the violence of Richard Kuklinski but the back story of who he really was and how he really got that way. Carlo pulls no punches. He leaves you battered and beaten and looking at the world through different eyes -- blackened eyes. I read here accounts of Richard not being involved in this or that crime, but I can only say to the skeptics that people who participate in murder on a regular basis know how to hide to their tracks, know how not to take responsibility for their actions. Until somebody can come forth with video or audio proving, unequivocally, that Richard was or was not at any particular crime scene, I believe what's in Carlo's book. I would urge readers to check out what Pat Kane, the detective who pursued and arrested Richard and brought him down had to say about Carlo's book. In my mind, Carlo's book is the best book ever written about the Mafia, about a psychopath. I, me and most of all my family, highly recommend this book.

4: I got proof that nobody has !!!!!!!!!
I wrote to Joey Testa at the federal prison he is incarcerated in about Kuklinski and he was nice enough to write me back. He told me that Kuklinski was a story telling Liar. If anyone wants to see a copy of the letter feel free to email me and I will send it to you. Joey Testa and Anthony Senter killed Roy DeMeo even Albert DeMeo wrote this in his book.

5: the ice man book
The book was engrossing. I dont care how much of it was true My only complaint with all books of this type is this: The author recreates dialog from many conversations from many times past. It is impossible for anyone to remember this. The author should have put in a disclaimer saying that conversations were recreated.
