1: Macabre fairy tale
Okay, so Tim Burton and the rest of that crowd has pretty much done this concept, but that does not take away from the cool imagination and sheer showiness of this story--Cinderella in a graveyard. It's a simple, macabre fairy tale told in surprisingly enchanting poetry that captures the spirts of Halloween and Cinderella alike. The true treasure of this book is the eerie illustrations.

2: We absolutely adore this book!
This is Cinderella with a twist. The setting is a graveyard, and she is a skeleton, but there is nothing creepy about it. The story is written in poetry, and it is beautifully illustrated with watercolors. My son and I love it!

3: Cinderella Skeleton
I purchased this book along with several others along the same vane for my Grand Daughters. age 2 and 4 to eventually enjoy as I know they will. I am their Gran Pa and are really looking forward to reading it to them when they are old enough. Great illustrations which go great with a twist of the tale....

4: Cinderella Skeleton--Great book for third graders!
I am a third-year education major and used this book during my supervised student teaching for a third grade class. They LOVED this book. It was entertaining enough to keep them interested. They even bought me a copy and each student signed it as a going-away gift! [by Lorraine's daughter Sarah]

5: Cinderella Skeleton
"Go and hang the spider webs up in the corners, and throw dirt on the floors!" Orders thrown at Cinderella Skeleton all the time. She did everything for her step mother and sisters. One halloween night, the prince threw a ball, and all were invited. As her step mother and sisters left for the ball in the herse, she was sad. She wanted to go to the ball too. Then came the witch, to help her with her problems.
The witch gave orders to Cinderella Skeleton, even though she was going to help her. She had to get a black cat, mice, etc... When she came back, the witch turned each thing into something that would help Cinderella Skeleton get to the ball. When the witch was done helping with the transportation, she gave Cinderella Skeleton a beautiful gown. The only thing was, she had to be home before dawn, and the first light came.
At the ball, Cinderella Skelton and the prince danced and danced. As they danced, Cinderella Skeleton lost track of time, and when dawn came, she fled. She ran and ran, down the stairs. As she ran down the stairs, her ankle snapped off! She had no time to go back and get it. The prince found it, and was determined to return it. He went to every house, with hope to find Cinderella Skeleton. When he got to her house, her step mother and sisters locked her in a room. The end of the story, I'll leave that to you. You'll have to actually read the story, it isn't long.
